In a recent research, Experts studied a very old skull over 4300 years old of a man who probably had a serious tumor in nose and throat area.

The skull had a huge hole and some damages, may be caused due to cancer. But the surprising fact that, experts found tiny cuts around the tumor affected area.

Scientist are assuming that cuts could be result of sharp tools used in surgery. This would be earliest known attempt to remove cancer through surgery.

But the result of surgery is still a mystery. Skull was earlier studied in 1963, but that time scientist missed the surgery cuts due to lack of efficient technologies.

Along with man's skull, experts also studied woman's skull who had cancer and healed from injuries from violence.

Woman's skull shows that ancient Egyptians were very skilled at treating serious head injuries around 4000 years ago.
